Digital Painting
Digital Painting is a recent phenomenon. For instance, the above picture of Rabindranath Tagore was produced digitally on the computer.
Whereas creativity in the static visual arts has been through the medium of painting on oil, water colours and recently, acrylic paints on conventional media, such as canvas or paper, digital painting takes place on computer screens, using exotic painting software such as Fractal Painter and using a digital tablet to create any kind of brush or surface, imaginable.
Digital painting, therefore, promotes absolute creativity. It can be used to produce or enhance any type of visual art.
Sankalp maintains its own gallery of digital paintings, which will soon be open for viewing on the Internet. Voila!
